Brazilian world champion freediver Karol Meyer breaks a new record

In September 9 the Brazilian world champion freediver Karol Meyer broke a new record, in Kalamata, Greece. She reached the mark of 100 m depth in the female category No Limits – In which the athlete can use a balloon to return to the surface as quickly as possible, due to the great depth reached.

Thanks to the technical expertise gained through years of compensation, Karol made ​​a quick dive, making the whole distance in two minutes and twenty seconds, without having to use resources to stop or slow down the equipment.

Karol has won five world records, two continental, 28 South American and six national, putting Brazil in focus and at the top of the sport for over 11 years.
