Diving in Buzios

Buzios is one of the most visited places of Rio de Janeiro due to the visit of the French actress Brigitte Bardot. It is a sophisticated place with a small number of inhabitants. Its population is of about 24 thousand inhabitants.

Scuba diving in Buzios is a great activity. The privileged animal sea life among clear water make Buzios a large aquarium in the sea.

The best points for diving are João Fernandes, João Fernando, do Forno, Azeda and Azedinha beaches, with small depth.

For scuba diving, one of the most indicated places is Ilha da Âncora, where the visibility is of about 12 meters. In Summer, it rises to 25 meters. The water in this region is very transparent. All the region of Buzios has a large variety of sea animals.
