Diving sites and scuba centers in Brazil
Scuba diving in pools, rivers and sea may damage the scuba equipment if you do not follow proper maintenance producers. Scuba equipments are also very expensive and hard to buy, therefore it is important to give special attention to these equipments. Here are some tips to enlarge the useful life of your equipments:
Immediately after use, always wash your equipments with fresh water.
Making a revision at least once a year to check if the equipment is in perfect conditions and keeping them always new is a basic point.
Avoid leaving your scuba equipment for a long time at sunlight, because the elastic and the rubber parts of the snorkel can dry up. The neoprene clothes also need some caution. They have to be washed with fresh water, and, if possible, soaked for a whole day. Let them dry first on the opposite side.
Everything must dry at the shadow. Do not use absorbent paper to dry the lens, because it can scratch them.
Flippers are another scuba equipment which deserve special care. After washed, they must be let in a horizontal position. Never put one flip over another, because any weight or incorrect position on storage can deform them.
